Title: Hello from Asturias-Espaņa
Post by: Lopo on March 25, 2015, 09:10:02 am
Hello I am new to the forum and I'm waiting to which goes on sale almond+ for Europe.

At home I have the blinds and thermostat  with Z-Wave  all powered by z-stick Aeon in a home automation server with freeware software  connected to the router from home.

And I am eager to replace the entire control hardware with the almond +

In the meantime if I can help in any way.

I only have to tell me.

A greet.
Angel.

Greetings and welcome to the forum.

Besides the blinds and thermostat do you plan on expanding your home automation in the near future?

Thanks Fillibar.

If I have planned to go slowly adding devices.

First beginning,  lights with motion detectors control.

Since I learned the output of the router, I made a pre-order and so far have not followed much the subject and i am catching up..

By the way, if not abused, you could clarify me a question ??

I imagine that I can combine Z-Wave devices with Zigbee devices with Almond + natively.
But, have almond+ ability to communication with some other driver or controler ( RF 433MHZ or similar ) ?

I'm asking because with the hardware / software that I have now I've done some stuff with arduino, and I'm adding communication by RF 433MHZ for use with some type of controller..

thanks in advance

Best regards
Angel.

P.D. sorry for my ingles, is not very good.

Sounds like a good plan, to build up your automation.

No, it does not support 433Mhz. Theoretically it could use some sort of dangle if the software was updated to support it, but I doubt that would be cheap or easy. More likely I could see someone using a wifi/433 "bridge" of some kind accessing the SDK/API available.

Note, I do not work for Securifi so that would all be my opinion.
