Title: Cheaper AC extender
Post by: Robhing on March 28, 2015, 11:54:17 pm
I would love to see a cheaper AC wifi range extender. I think my almond+ is great but am a little reluctant to buy another one to act as an extender in order to get rid of my wifi dead spots.

Of course cheaper has many different meanings, but something like these?

Or pick up the new Almond 2015 and get another Peanut plug with it for $100...

Except the Almond 2015 does not support AC.

Oh, wow. Bad assumption on my part!

Eh, easy enough to make and easy enough to fix. Barring the AC part my Almond 2015 works well as an extender and the Peanut Plug it comes with makes the "bundle" nicely priced.

Thanks all for the suggestions. Ended up buying a Netgear EX6100 AC extender on groupon for $35! Works well so far

Does not look like a bad device especially for the price. Amazing how the stuff keeps coming down.
