Title: Iris Smart Button
Post by: jefflouella on December 22, 2016, 03:46:47 pm
Lowes has the Iris Smart Buttons on clearance for $14. I picked one up. It pairs quickly, but as a Thermometer. I can't get it to pair as a button. Anyone else have this issue?

I don't know if these were ever supported BUT I would recommend returning it and picking up a three pack of the Securifi ones on pre-order sale for $30 / three pack (shipped).

I figured I would try it out since it is ZigBee.

I agree on the Almond Click.  I actually thought it was $30 for 1. Didn't realize it was 3. I will definitely order them.

Most companies' smart buttons are much more expensive and only recently have some of them come down in price but the current $10 rate is very good. I was hoping they'd keep that as the three pack rate the whole time but I ordered enough to satisfy me for a while anyways.

I don't see them on the website, is there a secret handshake?
Is there a link?

Updated:
Found it. https://www.securifi.com/almondclick (https://www.securifi.com/almondclick)
BTW, I agree it needs something on the webpage to say package of three.

It is not yet on Amazon any where last I checked. Selling electronic devices in multiple countries takes a lot of administrative work. I don't think the anger is necessary.

@mparadis thanks for the info about not on amazon.com. Somehow I assumed it was available.  Also no anger meant with "WFT securifi?" which translates to "When France Time" or something like that  :o

Haha I was going to ask the same thing about the Lowes one. I ended up returning mine and ordere the 3 pack. Hopefully they will control my Linear Z wave light switch in another room since Almond cant figure out how to support the 3-way smart switch.
