Title: Minor Forum Suggestions

Hello all, forum looks great, thanks for setting this up. I had a couple minor suggestions.

The first is when attempting to change your avatar via URL, it doesn't tell you the maximum size. I ended up trying a few different size, gradually reducing it in size each time until I had the idea to check out what size the pre-installed avatars were. It would be nice to just have a line of text saying the max size so people could resize accordingly.

The second is more of a personal request, not sure how many people would even care if it was implemented or not. I was just curious if Tapatalk (http://www.tapatalk.com/activate_tapatalk.php?plugin=smf) could get setup at some point. To set it up it involves registering the forum on Tapatalk's site and installing a plugin (SMF is supported). Once setup, users would be able to browse your forum from the Tapatalk app on their mobile device.

Thanks again for setting this up, I look forward to what the community comes up with once they get their hands on the API. :)

I knew Tapatalk would be mentioned  ;) It's something we'll look at adding for sure.

Sorry, let me chase our web developer on Monday, not sure what happened as I told him to do it. I don't use tapatalk myself, hence why I didn't think about it.

So, late update, we did actually try, but the current build of Tapatalk isn't compatible with the most recent version of SMF which means that we can't actually use it. We have to wait for a newer version of Tapatalk before we can add support for it. I guess this is the downside of using a forum that has regular security updates etc...  :P

Are you using  SMF 2.07?  I'm able to connect to another forum that's using 2.07 with Tapatalk.

Yes, we recently updated to 2.0.7.
There does appear to be some kind of legal spat between SMF and Tapatalk at the moment though, so we might hold off until that's over.

Does the resolve the license issue with SMF?
