After 6 months of great performance as a range extender, my Almond is suddenly not holding a consistent connection to my router. I thought it was the router, but I have no trouble connecting clients (Mac, iPhones, etc.) directly to it. I've checked all the Almond settings, rebooted both the router and the Almond multiple times, and even reset the Almond to factory settings and configured everything all over again. What else should I try?

Have you been in touch with our support team? http://www.securifi.com/support
It sounds like your Almond might've developed a fault. Have you had a recent power outage/surge? The reason I'm asking is because this can damage some sensitive components inside routers.
Anyhow, I'm sure our support team will help you out and in a worst case scenario, they'll arrange for a replacement unit.

Would the fault not show in the syslog? assuming you can access it...

Possibly, but you'd really have to talk to our support team, I'm sure they can help you figure out what's going on.
If you prefer, I can get someone to reply you here, but it'd have to wait until Monday then.
