Title: Climax Zigbee and Z-Wave devices
Post by: PsiFun on January 04, 2017, 01:12:35 pm
Hi,
I'm new here and have now installed my new Almond 3
I tried to add some Devices, the Z-Wave Dongle from Climax was recognized and does work,
but the Roller Shutters from Climax are only "UNSUPPORTED DEVICE!" both the Z-Wave and the Zigbee Variant of the Roller shutter.

The Modell is SCM-1ZBS (Zigbee) and SCM-1ZW (Z-Wave)

I could add them to the Network but can´t do anything with the, cann anyone hepl me to get them work?

I also have other Devices from Climax, but not installed by now:
PSM-DIN2-ZBS (Zigbee Fuse device)
IRP-9ZBS (Zigbee IR-Sensor)
PRD2-ZBS (Zigbee Dimmer)
PRS2-ZBS (Zigbee Power Switch)
PRS2-ZW (Z-Wave Power Switch)
Any hints before I try to add These too?

Thanks for help in advance  :)

I looked at the website for them and it does appear they support ZigBee HA 1.2 so it should be "possible" for Securifi to work with them. It might help them if you could try to add each one in, then send logs. That way they should have all the commands each device says it is capable of.

Also, they just added support for numerous Climax devices, is your firmware fully updated? You can check under the settings "app" on the LCD. I wouldn't be surprised if they planned further support as well but Climax appears to offer hundreds of sensor so sending over the logs as suggested by Fillibar may help them decide which ones to support quickly.

Hi @PsiFun, yes mparadis is right. We have added support for numerous Climax Zigbee Sensors in the latest firmware. Are you still facing problems with the Shutter Control with the latest firmware?

@neeharika

sorry for my late answer, I was very busy the last weeks.

Unfortunatly the shutters are not working by now.
I have the latest firmware AL3-R015-64MB installed, and also rejoined the Devices.

These are the Devices:
SCM-1ZBS : Zigbee Shutter
SCM-1ZW : Z-Wave Shutter

I can set actions like on , off and percentage at the Almond directly but not on the App or Web applet , then they open or shut, but I cannot see the current status or set up any rules.
I have a support ticket running about it until some days, # 331258

Here are my experiences with the other Devices:

PRD2-ZBS (Zigbee Dimmer) - Working 100% fine :)
PRS2-ZBS (Zigbee Power Switch)  - Working 100% fine :)
PRS2-ZW (Z-Wave Power Switch) - Working 100% fine :)

PSM-DIN2-ZBS (Zigbee Fuse device) not installed by now

IRP-9ZBS (Zigbee IR-Sensor) - is recognized as Motion Sensor but only shows "Bewegung erkannt" (motion detected) but does not go into "Keine Bewegung" (no motion) , even after hours without any movement in this room. I have also a Zipato Multisensor with the same problem.

Did you try removing and repairing the shutter control. It won't just start working if it wasn't working before.

After the last Firmwareupdate I  removed them and added them to almond again.

The Shutter itself is working when I press the physikal switchbuttons (up or down)  that is attached through the "external switch" connection on the Zigbeedevice, it is "only" not recognized as a shutter on my Almond.

On the Almond 3 Screen I can see the device and execute the actions "ON, OFF, or set a percentage%" , if I click one of these (no matter which) the curtains will go down if they were totaly up before or the other way round. when I click any actions while they are in movment they will stopp. After that they go either up or down on a click.
I would even be fine with this, because I do not need any settings like 50% shutters down.

But I need to set up rules and scenes with the shutters and also control them by the SmartphoneApp.
Unfortunatly as long, as they are "unknown devices" I cannot set up rules or anything else, they just don't show up.

Oh,  before I forget, IRP-9ZBS (Zigbee IR-Sensor) is now working 100%, don't know what happend, just started working this morning :)

@ PsiFun,

If the Almond 3 is not rebooted then please do send the log files, so that we could debug and see, if the support is added under Web UI and App. If possible remove and add the sensor, then send the log files.

Also I have a Zipato multisensor with an almond +. There is a zwave config you must change on the sensor to report the “no movement” event, because the default behavior is to not report it.
