Title: can't get activation code on my new Almond

I am setting up my Almond as a Range extender for the house after my LinkSys refused to accept the fact that I changed my Router's password. I hope I have better luck with Almond. It looks great.

Followed the instructions on the screen of the Almond but I can't get the code it prompts me to enter. I have internet connectivity on Almond, so it sees my router.
Internet connects via Optimum cable modem and a Cisco Router.

Am setting it up using a Dell PC (2014) running WIN 10 64x using OpenVPN.

Any suggestions?

@ IceQueenVT,

Try to run the diagnostics and let us know the message, meanwhile, sync the time and then try to get the code.
