That is absurdly high in my book. Those LED strips are very cheap, even purchased from US sources rather than even cheaper Chinese vendors. Top it off with a controller and power supply and maybe half that price is semi-reasonable. Craziness.

I agree. But I will say, the LED has RGB, soft white and cool white LEDS at 30 per meter of each. So that is more than most of the cheap LED's but its crazy expensive.

I want one of these controllers to be able to control WS2812 LED strips. It might be tough to allow it to individually control the LEDs (but should not be impossible) and should be able to do colors and some patterns without trouble.
