I was just curious if we have any new info on the IOS app and when we might could expect it.
-
We've submitted it to Apple for approval, so within a week hopefully.

Thank you.

>:( :( :-[ *sigh* Still waiting...

I know that Apple can take up to 3 weeks for first time apps for approval. I know this is not comforting, but one of the reasons many people choose Apple is because of the app approval process to insure your information is secure. Since this would be a first time app, the approval takes longer than if it is an update which is generally a much shorter wait than the initial approval because the basic security check is already done. Again not comforting but it is completely out of Securifi's hands once submitted.

So I guess the question is "why was the IOS app only submitted a week ago"?
-
We have to resubmit the app as we failed something fairly minor which we're addressing and we'll be resubmitting the app this week.

I have no inside knowledge but from what I have read on the forums regarding the android and ios apps is that they are essentially the same as the web app accessible through connect.securifi.com. My workaround is to create that web app in my home screen on my iPhone and it does what I need. I can toggle my sensors and see the status of my door sensor from there so while not ideal, I still have a basic functionality.
-
More or less, yes, but the native apps are a little bit better when it comes to sensor support at this point and the UI has been tuned a little bit better.
We'll let you all know as soon as it's available.

What did it fail on?
Does the app do anything other then monitor sensors? I don't have any sensors yet so I was wondering if it would be of any benefit to me.
-
Something fairly silly, as far as I was told, something to do with our login screen of all random things.
The iOS allows you to control the sensors as well, but I think the router options are very slim at the moment, although it should have an option to reboot the Almond+ remotely.
