Title: Post-upgrade Stuck in LCD Calibration
Post by: brycied00d on August 15, 2014, 12:01:46 am
The upgrade to R65 seemed to go well. I opted to keep my settings. Following the upgrade, I was prompted to perform the "Factory Test for Touch Screen" as expected. I complete the test and I was left with:

(Note: 2.4GHz is disabled). The device continued to function normally otherwise: web UI, WiFI, making changes (yay AP/bridge mode) etc; only the LCD is non-responsive. After about 20 minutes, I rebooted the router (via connect.securify.com). Upon reboot, I was prompted with the "Factory Test for Touch Screen" once again. I repeated this twice more.
Finally I decided to do a hard reset, it rebooted, I performed the test once more and finally then was greeted with the standard startup wizard.

So I'm back up and running, but I'm reporting this as a bug all the same.

PS: Note the spelling error in "setTelent" (as opposed to "setTelnet")

This issue happened because your 2.4GHz radio was disabled and the hard reset fixed that issue.
Thanks for the heads up though.

Interesting.. I've not had this test at any point before or after the upgrade.

This issue would only affect the first 1k, as they shipped with a different firmware.
