Title: unable to set static ip in access point mode
Post by: sparkus on August 15, 2014, 07:36:45 pm
Hello,

Because of my routing schema, I need to set a static ip for the Almond+ in access point mode.

Thank you.

Is there any chance you can issue a static leas from your main router?
At the moment we don't support static IP when in AP mode, but your main router should be able to issue a static IP address to the Almond+ when it's in AP mode.

Lars,

That's what I'm doing, but I still think you should be able to set an IP from the touchscreen and the gui.

Yeah, we'll get that done, but it's not a high priority at the moment I'm afraid as we have a lot more important things to fix.

I was able to set a static WAN address with no problem (firmware R065). Is that what you are talking about?

I can't because it isn't even listed in the router. DHCP gives it an IP but its not listed in the router and I can't address it by hostname like http://AlmondPlus.lan
