Title: Lifx light bulb support?
Post by: Myk on September 03, 2014, 08:01:11 pm
I'm eagerly awaiting my Almond+, which is starting to feel like a reality, finally. Since ordering it, I've invested quite a bit of money in Lifx light bulbs, which are way, way better than Phillips Hue bulbs. Are Securifi aware of them, and if so, what plans are in place to support them?

We actually backed them, but sadly our bulbs never arrived... No native control support right now, but maybe in the future.

Do not hesitate to contact them at support@lifx.co  I do it and they resend it to me.

I'd definitely get in touch with them. They're quite cooperative and I'm sure they'd love to have their product integrated in the Almond+

As a backer of these two successful kickstarter projects, I would be really happy to have LIFX support on my Almond+

Please!

Thanx

We got some when we were at CES, but it's going to take time to integrate them. They work just fine via their app though.

Good to hear you're working on them. Their app has been a bit spotty so far, and they've apparently abandoned their mesh networking. Hopefully now we have Cloud support they'll be more reliable. I'm in the middle of moving house at the moment, so I haven't been able to properly test it out with the Cloud stuff. I have finally actually turned on my Almond+, though, so I'm glad to hear you're working on supporting them.
