Hello,
I know there was another delay due to local post overload. But in last update you talked aboud a week.
I recived the securifi tracking notification on aug-28-2014. The acceptance is on aug-31-2014. Until now, nothing go further.
I just want to have more information in order to be patient and not to hope for nothing.

Well, we called the post office's EMS service today and they said the delay is due to customs here. We weren't told why, but things have been extremely slow and we can only apologise on their behalf.
We didn't have these issues with the shipment to Canada, so we're not sure why there's a massive problem now.

Hey Talard,
I had the same worries... notification on August 28, tracking started on the 31st, nothing happened for 10 days.
I have also contacted support and asked what has happened to my shipment. Securifi has answered I should not worry, there would be a customs issue.
And guess what - I just checked and my shipment is in an aircraft which is just now flying from China to Germany where it will arrive in Frankfurt tomorrow morning!
So just be patient and check regularly - you will be positively surprised soon I bet!

my unit just arrived today. same situation, no update since Sept 1 from EMS Taiwan.
then suddenly I got a dispatch notification last night. Then this morning I got a knock on my door.

Well, I think I'm not lucky...
My Almond+ take the plane to Roissy (France) on friday 12 september, and arrive monday 15 sep for custom inspection. Until there no more information...
Can Securifi have a better visibility on this ?

You have to contact your local post office, for some reason in France and the UK, the local post office doesn't seem to bother contacting people when the packages arrive which is very odd.

On my url tracking it's just say "Arrival at incoming office : Roissy France".

OK Lars, I just make a call to Chronopost. They answer that the almond+ is stoped because of their is no bill in the package.
Can you contact them back in order to solve the situation. We provided three copies of the invoice attached to the outside of the box in a plastic sleeve, but apparently the French, British and German post have some eyesight problem, as all three are unable to find it.
We'll email you a copy though.

After some embush, my Almond+ knock the door 10min ago.
But, EMS (Chronopost) ask me a 71€ :o (90$, almost the price of the almond...). So it break my heart but I didn't accept de package !!!!
What can we do next Securifi ? Lars, help me :-\

Sadly we can't do a thing about this.
These are charges that are outside of our control I'm afraid.
I'm surprised that they want that much though, as it seems more than unreasonably high.
If the package is returned here, the only thing we can offer is a refund I'm afraid.

I think there is an error too.I can imagine a 30% of the Almond+ bill, like in a german post, but not 75%. i just regretting not having a look at fee detail... The package is returning to you.

This must be some new recent rule that has gone into effect?

Well, you can always call the post office and discuss it with them as it seems insanely high. I feel sorry for you, but I'm afraid this is one thing we can't help with.

Not a all !

In the first table there is the fee % and it's not more than 30% whethever the electronique product.

So call them up and ask what's going on before they send your package back. It's the only way you're going to be able to sort things out.

So, as you advise, i try to call Chronopost. Perhaps it's a missunderstainding with the delivery man but they say me the fee was 41 and not 71€. Chronopost is looking for the package in order to do the delivery but not sur if it's alwready in the returned process.
By the way, their is 20€ of duty and 21€ for managment of duty by Chronopost services.

That is odd; then the local postal office is doing their own thing?
I mean what you are seeing on the documentation / tracking is totally in contradiction with what is posted on the website.
That is where it could be a recent change and not yet updated on the postal service website?
Maybe a visit instead of a phone call and a face to face chat with local postal office authority might help; eh?

hi talard i paid 55 euros to chronopost France for the total amount of 138 euros ;i dont know why they ask too much amount for you ..normaly they have to ask 20 percent of tax in my case 34 euros and custom tax 21 euros..the problem they can't check all package they will choose randomly..some people receive their parcel without any charges

Yeah here only seen these types of issues in Latin America / South America where I have had to hire 3rd party brokers to handle deliveries which is a PITA.
I have family there in France and never have any issues with anything I send them. Where are you at?

- I leave in West France in Renne city.
After seeing my Almond + get back to Securifi, Lars help me to find a way to send it back. and this is the point !
I want to thanks Lars for his help and for keep us in touch on the forum. I can say (my point of view) that you're doint a great job cause sice the begin of the forum, posts are more and more every day.
Because it's the moment, thanks to Pete, we don't see you as often as Lars but you're there !
A little question : did you have news about Chronopost refund ?
