After several days of continuous use, my Almond+ no longer accepts the password!

What happens if you change it in the LCD UI?

This happened to me too, it is very disconcerting when it occurs. I had a pretty long password set, tried shortening it, didn't work. I gave up, set it to root and I'm back in.
