Currently USB port of A+ only provided 0.5A current, is it possible to output 1A so we can charge the mobile faster

Good question. I use this on might nightstand to charge my iPhone and iPad.

The ports output 900mA as they're USB 3.0 ports. That said, there's no way of controlling this, as we can't sense the power demand from the device as the Almond+ wasn't designed to be a charger.

As an aside to this.. Not all phones can charge at > than 500mA without proper 'negotiation'.. Exceptions are like my Galaxy S5, I've had an usb power meter inbetween it and the charger, and it'll kick all the way up to 1.7A from a proper sized usb charger, but if you hook it up to say, my MBP... it'll only draw 500mA because it doesn't negotiate with the mac for more power.
