I heared you will release a new firmware at the end of this week?
When will R066 be available?

Do you know if it will resolve the issue with having certain symbols in the SSID of the wireless?  I contacted you a while back and you let me know that was the reason I can't link my Almond+ to my account to be able to use your app.

Should be afaik. I'll get it up later on as the LCD update won't work quite yet.

Most likely no, most performance issues will hopefully be addressed in the next firmware release.

Afraid not, we're a bit behind on the schedule with regards to automation I'm afraid.
The most recent update I've had on that is next month  :-\

Is there a way we can be notified of firmware updates other than checking the forums manually?

Not at the moment no.
Our longer term goal is to add a notification in the LCD UI when there's a new release out.
After R067, it'll be possible to update the firmware via the LCD UI.
We might also look at adding a notification in the mobile app when a new firmware is available.
