Title: Battery Icon, battery powered sensors
Post by: mr23 on September 20, 2014, 12:40:39 am
Where is this feature located?
Web interface (http://10.10.10.254/cgi-bin/luci#), on sensor summary or when individual sensor details are expanded ?
LCD sensor page or individual sensor status ?
Android App ?

I don't see one anywhere. Running R066. Have a battery powered sensor (door/window switch).

A screen capture posted here would be helpful, too.

It's in the LCD UI for now, but it should also work in the Android app and the cloud UI. I'm not sure if it's done in the local web UI yet.
I'll post a screenshot on Monday as I don't have any battery powered Z-Wave devices at home.
You might have to remove and re-add your sensor for this to work though, but I don't think it was meant to be needed.
Keep in mind that not all Z-Wave sensors are doing things exactly the same way, so it's possible that it might not be working with your sensor, but as you didn't really provide any details, I can't really say.

My mistake. Z-wave only, and I only have zigbee so far.

ZigBee devices will report low battery, so no worries, it just doesn't show up until the batteries are starting to run low.
