Hi The_Dbx,

I am sorry for the inconvenience caused and we have already cascaded the information to our concerned team to take care of the issue. Meanwhile, if you are using the Almond in Range Extender mode and the software version shows "R196" then you don't have to update the software because the latest software is only meant for the Almond being used in Router mode. If you are using the Almond in Router mode then please do let us know, we would be happy to assist you accordingly.
