I have 3 A+.
One is my main WiFi router (connected through my DCHP/Cable modem) and it is using 10.10.10.254 as its IP.
The second arrived with R065 installed (now updated to R066 like the main one) and is in Range Extender mode. Seems to work fine, picks up an assigned IP and I can connect to the WebUI without issue.
The third arrived with R064 and I am trying to update it, but I can't access the WebUI because it insists on using 10.10.10.254. I have it attached to my cable modem as well. It says it is connected to the Internet. I tried to change the IP address in Internet Settings to see if I could access the WebUI that way, but I just got error messages saying the config was corrupt. I went so far as to shut down my main A+ to see if I could access this third A+, but again got the config corrupt error message.
I want to use the third router as another range extender, but can't unless I can update the firmware.
I have reached the level of my incompetence and need guidance.
Thanks,
T

Update:
I just shut down and unplugged both the updated and functioning A+. I added the A+ with R064 installed and set up my WiFi network. This works.
I restarted my computer to see if there were some network settings causing the issue.
It still says that the IP Address is 10.10.10.254, but I get this error when I navigate to the address:
/usr/lib/lua/luci/dispatcher.lua:211: /etc/config/luci seems to be corrupt, unable to find section 'main'
stack traceback:
[C]: in function 'assert'
/usr/lib/lua/luci/dispatcher.lua:211: in function 'dispatch'
/usr/lib/lua/luci/dispatcher.lua:195: in function </usr/lib/lua/luci/dispatcher.lua:194>
Is this a problem with the A+, the Firmware, or something else entirely.
thanks.

I'm not sure about the error you are getting, but you can change the IP on the LCD, change it to a different range such as 192.168.1.1 or 10.10.1.254.

Do a hard reset and you'll be able to log in to the web admin. It's a known issue affecting a few units.

Tried the Hard Reset and that didn't work either.
I did get things working by swapping out the A+ being used as my primary for the R064 version and setting the updated one up as a range extender. This cleared it using .254 and let the R064 version to connect then update. All is well now.
