Is there an way to send email alert using motion sensor ?

Without this, its missing a major use of Almond + as you don't have alert on the app or to email

Notifications will be in the next app release which as  far as I'm aware is scheduled to be released at the same time as the next firmware, i.e. 1-2 weeks.

Longer term the plan is to add support for email notifications via the rules.

R070 Firmware doesn't appear to be carrying notification support.

Well they did say "in the next release, in a couple weeks" not " It's in the release that was just released this week. "

The firmware has notification code in it, but it's not for email notifications.
We're doing push notifications using the apps first and we're going to release beta apps to our beta testers shortly.
Sadly we didn't get a few last minute bits of code into R070 that fixes a couple of bugs related to this, so R071 will be the firmware will full notification support via the Android and iOS apps, so in other words, as month from now.
We might do a more public beta test of the Android app, we'll see.
