Some of you might've noticed that if you remove sensors, sometimes you end up with "ghost" senors in the mobile apps or in the cloud.
The cloud backed was updated earlier today and these can now be manually purged, by doing the following:
1. Disconnect your Almond+ from the internet (i.e. disconnect the WAN cable).
2. Add or remove a sensor (any sensor) using the Add Sensor app in the LCD UI of the Almond+.
3. Connect the Almond+ to the internet again.
4. Run the Diagnostics app in the Almond+ LCD UI.
This should purge all the "ghost" sensors.

Hey Lars, thanks for the update!
What if you do not have the sensor anymore to remove? Should I still try steps 1, 3, and 4 to get it off the mobile app?

Hi ,
will this also reset/renumber the device ID's?
I ended up with device ID's
1,2,3,4,6,7,8
Will I end up with Device ID's
1,2,3,4,5,6,7?

Thank-you Lars.
One Almond + works fine doing steps 1 to 4.
Almond + number 2 sort of works.
I can delete the sensors, connect to the cloud and see them deleted.
I then do steps 1-4 and the sensor are added but they are all ghosted. I did this a couple of times.
It would be beneficial that the name of the Almond + device be passed over such that it shows on the LCD GUI as the same name (well rather than Home
)

Any sensor will do, it doesn't have to be one of the "ghost" sensors. Just add or remove something while the Almond+ is offline, re-connect it, run the Diagnostics app and it'll refresh the list of sensors in the cloud.
The device ID's are sort of irrelevant, as they simply added in order of which the sensors are added. You can simply rename them to whatever you want.
As for showing the name of the Almond+ in the Almond Account app, it was something I was thinking about yesterday when I was doing this as well and I'll take it up with the software team.

Apparently we already have the Almond+ name, just not where you'd expect. If you go to Help and About, there's a filed called Name: which shows the name of your Almond+.
You can also rename your Almond+ using the cloud UI over at connect.securifi.com

Thanks lars! Seems to have fixed what I needed thus far

Thank-you Lars!
Yup; here still cannot get rid of the ghosted sensors. I can remove them just fine such that there is no sensors on one Almond +.
When I add them with the Almond+ disconnected from the internet and reconnect and do diagnostics the ghost sensors come back.
I have switched them around (different sensors for different Almond + device) and they keep coming back. I will try a cold reset of said Almond + to see what happens.

Hmmm, that's strange, as I've tested this method on three different Almond+'s and it works on all of them. I'll have a word with the cloud team on Monday to see if they can take a look.
