I am wondering if some 5ghz wifi issues we're experimenting over ios would not be related to AWDL: http://www.iclarified.com/45619/ios-8-wifi-issues-blamed-on-bonjour-over-awdl-wifried-fix-released-in-cydia
I do not have right now a JB device right now to test but if anyone has one, would be nice to test this proposed command sudo ifconfig awdl0 down than bring feedback.
