Hi,
I want to install a motor control device (shaders type) which will control my home-cinema screen and will replace my old X-10 device.
Do you know if Almond+ can control one of the following;
-Fibarο Blind Control Insert 2 (https://mobilehome.gr/en/blinds/234/fibar-blind-control-insert-2-detail)
-Blind Control Set for Busch-Jaeger DURO 2000 (https://mobilehome.gr/en/blinds/237/blind-control-set-busch-jaeger-duro-2000-detail)
I have already installed the dimmers from the last company (https://mobilehome.gr/en/lighting-plugs/switches-dimmers/228/dimmer-set-busch-jaeger-duro-2000-detail) which communicate very well with Almond+.
Please advise.
Thanks!

We have a FGRM-222, but we haven't added support for it as yet.
We're also talking to Z-Wave.Me, but we haven't had samples from them yet.

Hi Lars,
so unless you add support for those products it will impossible to control them via Almond+, correct?
Thanks
-
Yes, sadly. We're planning support for the FGRM-222, but I can't guarantee when it'll be, although I'll try to push for it, since I have a bit of an input about this... No promises though as we have a lot of other things lined up.
-
So, to be clear, It can't even be used for something simple as on/off or up/down?
Thanks
-
Most likely not.
-
Thanks. Please do add support the soonest possible.

@Lars
I guess if you support the full range of fibaro and zwave.me products, availability of compatible sensors in europe is pretty much covered... though the aeon stuff looks nice too
I would like to get some new stuff, but most sensors and actors currently guarenteed to work seem widely available in the US but not so much in the EU... is this something you recognize?

Yes, I'm well aware of the somewhat limited support for sensors, not just for Europe, but for everywhere.
We're working on it and more things will come, but this isn't something that takes five minutes to do as I've explained in multiple threads here.
We have five UI's to cover once we have added support for a sensor and if it's different from another type, then we have to make five new UI's.
Anyhow, we'll be working on adding support for more sensors soon.
