My XBOX One NAT is on Moderate.
I have tried DMZ and portforwarding with no luck. please help if you got it to work!

Hi nrtrush,
I think I went a little overboard on my research, but my Xbox One was set to NAT Strict, and I had a feeling that it was going to be tough to achieve NAT Open coming from a Strict setting. So after quite a bit of reading up on this, I ended up with a NAT Open setting by doing three things (and the first step may not even be needed).
1) I added a static DHCP lease for my Xbox One from the LAN Settings page (by going to the Almond+ admin page).
2) I went into OpenWRT, then Services (from the top menu), then UPnP. My UPnP setting was enabled. I had to disable it, then hit Save, then enable it again, and hit Save.
3) I then turned my Xbox One off, and then back on. Once I did this, my Xbox was showing NAT Open.
I hope this helps, it seems like a simple fix but I'll have to see if the NAT status remains in an Open state.

I'm glad to report that the Open NAT is still in effect. Did this fix the issue for you, nrtrush?
-
Nope. Still not working for me. I am getting ready to switch routers. This is ridiculous. port forwarding not working and DMZ not working for my xbox either.

Try enabling UPNP in the Open-WRT, I did that and I got NAT open without even having to forward any ports.
-
As long as I've enabled UPnP, I've been able to have my NAS do all the automatic port forwards I need.

I have UPnP enabled already and still doesn't work. I have tried putting the static IP for my XB1 in DMZ / Lan settings / Disabling/renabling UPnP / Forwarding ports to no success. Had no problems before I switched to this router.

Any other ideas? This sucks not being able to play with friends.

Did you contact our support team? They're there to help, but you're the one that's going to have to contact them or they won't know you've got a problem.
