So Im a little new to configuring routers but......
So far I love my Almond. Although I look forward to a firmware that has the automation done and solid wifi speeds, Im happy with the Almond.
Prior to almond, I had a netgear router in a Windows Serer 2012 environment. This server is set up as the DNS server. On my netgear router, I had the DNS server pointing to my server ( 192.168.1.16 ) and a secondary pointing to google ( 8.8.8.8 ) just in case my server goes down.
I wanted to do the same with the Almond now. The only place I could find this is in OPENWRT. There is a CUSTOME DNS SERVER field here but when I added the ip addresses as noted above, it freaked. My N Wireless was disabled and it was acting weird. So I had to reboot.
An I making the changes in the right place or am I just crazy
