My Hue Bridge is connected via the ethernet port. My custom app and the Hue app from Phillips detect it just fine. The Almond+, however, doesn't see the Hue Bridge in order to add it.
-
You might have to press the button on the Hue hub the first time you add it to the Almond+.
-
my hue hub was detected properly.
perhaps you can try power cycling your hub. and as lars pointed out, could just be the push button.
good luck!

Several Power cycles of various devices in various orders: No effect.
Move: It works. :/

We made a bunch of changes to how the hue stuff works in R070as, so this might be affecting it. I had some odd issues as well and the software team is looking at it.

I got my hub yesterday, and had trouble pairing it also. When I clicked to add the hub, it would say searching for about 2 seconds before it would crash to the homepage. I tried a reboot which didn't fix it. I downgraded to r70, and it paired fine. Upon going back to r70as if I go back to the add hue, the right screen comes up like it should so I don't know what the problem was.

HUE not pairing under under firmware 72. Just a quick flash and goes back to home screen.
-
Had to roll back to 69cb to add hub then upgraded back to 72.

I found that resetting the hue hub solved this issue for me. Pairing with and older firmware might not be ideal, as at one point during internal testing, things didn't work properly after that, but it's possible that they've fixed that.
