Title: Upgrade path

I am currently at R066 firmware and want to get to the beta. Should I go to R069 first then to the beta? or should it not matter?

Does not matter. I went straight from 066 to 069beta. With settings preserved. (I did export the settings from the web interface just to be on the safe side)
