I set up the rules for porch light to turn on and off and they were working great. Last night I had to reboot the unit twice because my Internet was extremely slow and I couldn't get into the web ui. This morning I found the porch lights were not turned off as scheduled and didn't turn on in the evening either. Just now I went to openwrt to check and the time zone is UTC. I'm not sure if this is a known problem or if my unit is faulty.

This issue has been fixed, you will get updates in the next firmware.

I just installed R070as and I am still having issues with the Almond+ having the wrong time after a reboot. Here is what I did after installing R070as:
Logged in to OpenWRT interface. Timezone shows New York, but Local Time shows 22:45:03
Checked LCD UI time app - shows 10:45 pm
Changed to UTC. Saved. Local time shows 22:46:56
Changed to New York. Saved. Local time shows 17:48:06.
I rebooted the router using the android app and repeated the above steps.
I also rebooted using OpenWRT and it again showed the incorrect time.

when will the new fw be out? I have the R70 so I don't think you refer to this one.

I'm using R070as as well and having the exact same issues as coderunner. It seems to be remembering what timezone choice you make on the dropdown in OpenWRT after reboot, however the time doesn't reflect it until you change the time to something else and change it back.

In R070as you can set the time in the rules UI the first time you create a rule. It should try to auto detect your time zone, although the location might not be accurate.
