Seems to be problems with connecting to Almond servers.
Keep getting "Almond is offline".
Wanted to make sure this isn't a local issue
-
Apparently we had some issues earlier today, but it should be working fine now.
-
I know this has been discussed before, but is there any way to bypass the cloud? It's pretty irritating to not be able to control a light across the room from the same network without connecting to the internet first. A feature to allow control from a local network would be quite useful.
-
We're looking into it, but it'll take time to do.
-
Has been down all day for me. Doesn't work on android app or logging into it from a computer. All I get is the offline message. Any other ideas?
-
I can no longer log in to the app either. Havnt been able since I upgraded to the R70as beta version. That said it did work initially (immediately after the upgrade last night but has been on the blink since this morning!
-
Yeah the cloud seems down, haven't been able to use the app since yesterday.
-
Got to be an issue with R070as then, as everything is working fine on our end. We'll have to investigate tomorrow. Sorry about this, but it's not one we've come across.
-
R070as working just fine here.
-
The Almond offline problem solved itself when I rebooted the router. So the bug might be an intermittent thing.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed...
-
App says almond offline for me too. I first noticed midday yesterday.
Using android app 0.3.15b.
Almond is on R070as.
Was daylight savings here today. This happened prior to that however.
I happened to be up at that time and I checked the clock app on the LCD and it had updated correctly.
I'm rebooting now and...it came back up. App is working again.
This is why my wife is driving me to use insteon. I have some already and she knows that when the controller locks up the lights will still work and they aren't cloud Dependant.
So another vote for offline control again. I know you can't do it overnight, but I believe it should be done.
-
I had the same problem. Reboot only temporarily solved the issue. Saying it's offline again.
-
Just a FYI to almond support, I have not updated to the newest firmware release with this issue. Still on 70 and day 2 of the cloud being down.
-
Was down for a little bit yesterday morning, but is working fine for me with both iOS app, and over the net.
-
Mine has been down since yesterday as well. Showing Almond offline but almond shows online and sensors work from there. iOS app and via website.
-
My IOS App for Almond+ says the router is down (My Almond+ is located in my condo 200 miles away so I can't check it's status in person). However, my dropcam is working so I assume the router is in fact working. This situation has been going on for at least 10 hours.

Cloud was down on Friday for long time and on Saturday for 1 hour. It is fine after that. Please try rebooting the Almond and if the Almond still shows offline or if it is fluctating between online and offline, please email [suspicious]could@securifi.com[/suspicious] with your MAC.
-
still down. For the whole weekend. I know my router is working, but IOS app says not available

Have you tried to reboot the router?
Mine worked fine but was still unavailable from the app. A reboot fixed it immediately.
-
all connectivity was down this morning. Hard wired connections and wireless clients lost internet connectitvity and the iOS app read offline. LCD interface diagnostics read all clear. Reboot fixed it.
R70as.

My router is located in a second home 200 miles from my home so I can't reboot my router without the IOS App which is off-line...... I know the router is physically working because I use a Drop Cam to monitor the property. It is functioning. The PC based program also says Almond is offline. Securifi via email says:
Hi there,
We're planning to update our cloud servers at 1am PT on March 11. We expect the downtime to be under 30 minutes. Please note that during this downtime you can still control your devices through the local Web Interface (default IP: 10.10.10.254). And all your Rules will continue to work as they run locally on the Almond+.
Once our cloud servers are back up, your Almond+ should connect back to the cloud automatically. In the unlikely event, your Almond+ shows up as Offline in the mobile apps or connect.securifi.com, please reboot your Almond+.
Thank You
The Almond+ Team
Hopefully this will be fixed then.
