Title: Water valve?
Post by: obmd1 on March 07, 2015, 04:19:15 pm
Anyone have any experience with this valve or anything like it? I would think you could have it act according to a flood sensor connected rule?

I'm sure that will be lovely as well. My inquiry was with regard to the linked product knowing that there have been issues with Iris's proprietary protocols.

No worries, more linking to show state of valves as it is indicated none are yet supported. In theory they will work with flood sensors like you mentioned though until they are supported that obviously won't work. I have seen a few other brands floating around as well and like the iris at much better prices that the fortrezz. Also, the one I posted in the other site will be selling non-Iris branded ones according to their website and looks like Lars was saying they were working with the company so support could be pending in the future. :-D

Also, found these ones. http://www.leakintel.com/ which are z wave plus according to their website.
