So I had to power cycle my cable modem and figured I'd do the same for my routers. I did not remember I had a numeric passcode to the router's lcd interface. I can log via my browser as well as the ios and android app but there's no option to change/remove/reset the lcd's numeric passcode. What can I do besides resetting the router to defaults? If I can access it via a browser or mobile app, it should be an option to change it...

If you've updated to R070as, then there's an option to do it, but I can't remember where at the top of my head, but it was added to that firmware release.

Have you changed it from the default 1234 ?

Try 1234 or I believe some reported it was set to 0000

I got lucky and tried my past random numbers and one worked. And thanks, the new firmware does have that option now, under management (where it should be, thank god lol). Thanks all!
