My iOS app loses connection with the Almond+ every few days, and a reboot is required. Obviously the app and the Almond+ are not communicating, so a reboot through the app doesn't work. On the iPhone 6+: toggle wifi on/off, force quit app, reboot - none of these restore communication to the Almond+. So then I can log onto the management interface through my laptop or through the browser on my phone, but I'm not seeing a reboot option. The 'logoff' button on the bottom right of the landing page as a 'power' button icon that we're used to but it immediately logs you out. How can I perform a remote reboot on the Almond+?

There was a cloud update that might have interrupted it. As for reboot... There is an option in OpenWRT, within Advanced BUT that is not accessible remotely by default, even if your Luci interface is. You may have to wait for access to the router. Certainly a thing they need to look into adding somewhere in Luci.

Ah - forgot about the cloud update. Yep, that was likely the issue this morning with the iOS app. I pulled out my laptop to use the web console to turn on lights (sensors) this morning. The Almond+ is on a different level of my house so a reboot at the hardware isn't always convenient. Thanks!

Also have a reboot option if you use https://connect.securifi.com

Thank you. Was not aware of that portal. However it says my A+ is offline. So it looks like a physical reboot is actually required.

That uses the Cloud access... So if your Cloud access is not working (like the app showed) it would not be able to do anything.

lol, good point wasn't even thinking of that. I think I need to stop reading forums while at work. :-[

HA! I run into that problem whether I am at work or not so you are ahead of me there.
mwbelsaas, did you get a chance to give it a reboot? If so, is everything back up and running?

This happen to me... lost wifi, so when i was connected from a different AP, i could get to luci with no issue, but any cloud services were offline. the OpenWRT option was a fail-safe, but that also was not coming up. only luci was able connect and navigate. please put a reboot option in, maybe under administration along with the change password.
