Anyone else have problems with the Almond+ in range extender mode... Made the mistake of trying to change to 20/40mhz bandwidth .. router will lockup and will not want to reboot... had to reboot it twice to get it to recognize the reset button... Also had a similar issue with disappearing 5g networks, and problems with lockups if you misenter the wpa2 key while trying to link in range extender mode...
Almond+ doesnt like settings changed once youve established the Range Extender connection...
Really needs to fail gracefully with misentered wpa2 keys as well as if the link breaks... and that 20/40 switch thing.. Ouch...
Would like a complete reset settings and wipe option buried in the touchscreen UI as well... perhaps require a pin code or something to actually execute it..

Hmmm, this should clearly not be happening.
The reset is done via the reset button on the top of the Almond+ - http://wiki.securifi.com/index.php?title=Hardware_reset_button_-_Almond%2B_2014
It won't remove sensors or the cloud account and as far as I'm aware, it shouldn't be deleting rules either, but it'll wipe all other settings.

Actually I ended up opening a ticket on the 20/40 switch while in Range Extender mode locking up the Almond.. Seems it might be reproducible ..
Not sure why the reset button didnt take on the first try... plugged it in while holding it down.. the first time it just froze.... waited a bit when it wasn't moving...
Unplugged it again.. let the screen blink then held it down for 10 sec... Got a dialog box saying resetting.. waited roughly 30min.. said forget it.. rebooted it again and didnt touch anything... slight delay but the router came back up and finally showed the home screen... went to the web UI, set the timezone, and did a reset to defaults and seems ok since..

i have had the exact same issues as described here, AND i am unable to update to R072 from R070 from within the LCD panel.

Please contact the support team, as I don't have the slightest idea what's going on in either case, as we haven't come across this before.

I too am unable to update from the LCD UI. I have two Almonds, one is connected in range extender mode and the other connects to the modem, the one acting as a range extender states that it has no internet connection yet I can connect to the router web interface from a computer connected to the other Almond and devices connected to the range extender can access the internet..
