Title: Motion sensor time delays
Post by: umar on March 29, 2015, 04:29:26 pm
hello i want to create a rule like IF there is no motion for more than 30 minutes and if the door opens THEN turn on sirene, the problem is we have no option to choose the time delay in motion sensor.;if i can do this it is not necessaire to arm the alarm manually with key fob when i going out ..when i am not in house for more than "X" time delay  it will automatically activate the rule..

thanks

I am probably wrong and oversimplifying things, but could you put the delay on the siren side instead of on the motion side of the rule ? Instead of if no motion for 30 minutes than activate siren  ,do a if no motion then after 30 minutes activate siren.

Just a simple thought from a simple mind.

Hi thanks for the reply the siren had a delay of 5 minutes but I need a delay in motion sensor settings with more than 5 minutes...
