Title: Securifi PIR Bracket
Post by: Cogs on April 06, 2015, 05:59:09 pm
Just a suggestion, sorry if it's been mentioned. Regarding the Securifi PIR motion sensor, why doesn't the mounting bracket have a rotating ball and joint type connection? The ideal mounting position is in a corner (also recommended by Securifi) though the current bracket does not allow for that. A ball and joint type bracket would allow the user to obtain the best possible position over the current fixed bracket.

We didn't design the product, it's something we sourced from a third party and as such, we don't have control over these things.

I think the timer is simply to set how often you'd like to be notified. For example, do you need to be informed every three seconds that there is activity/motion?
