ok, just got my almond+ set up.  i am trying to log in via local browser interface, 10.10.10.254, my user name is showing root (how do i change this?), what is my password?

Sadly the username can't be changed.
You can always find the local web UI IP address and the password under Status, Web Admin in the LCD UI.
