Hi,
I recently purchased an A+ on an e-bay auction. It's in great shape and very lightly used. The previous owner had already installed R80.
The router arrived today, so the first thing I did was to power it up hit the reset button, after which I ran through the setup wizard and connected it to my Asus AC3200, extending the 2.4GHz and one of the two 5GHz networks. That all went well, I can see the extended networks, connect to them and access the internet.
My problem is that I am unable to connect to the Web UI. When I look at the status it tells me that the IP address of the device is 192.168.1.208 and that the Web UI can be reached at that address. When I point my browser at it the connection times out. When I ping that IP address there is no response. I can connect to the Internet just fine. Other devices on my network respond to pings. I have also tried 10.10.10.254 just in case the status tile is reporting incorrectly. I was able to register it online and it is seen by the Almond app on my iPhone.
I've performed several resets on the device but get the same results every time. Unable to connect to the Web UI.
Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Actually, nevermind. I solved my own problem.
For me at least, the only way to get the Web UI to come up was to connect using one of the repeated networks on the A+. So, if I have a network called XYZ and that is extended by the A+ as XYZ_almond, then I can only access the Web UI if I connect to XYZ_almond first. Sort of makes sense from a security perspective but quite unlike most other home range extenders I' am familiar with.
