Title: HomeScreen
Post by: d.kiran on August 22, 2015, 07:09:58 pm
This looks like a blatant copy of the Almond including the mobile interface. Are you guys working with them or did they completely copy your design ? http://www.amazon.com/HomeScreen-TouchScreen-Wireless-Extender-Powerful/dp/B00PHTQQ3O/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1440284993&sr=8-1&keywords=homescreen

Just hope that they also copied the A+ bugs as well-)

This has been asked before, and I don't think we ever got a reply. I do find it interesting that some of the review mention HA, only being able to pair via touchscreen. Wondering if they actually have HA in this device or if they thought they were reviewing A+.

This looks like an Almond because it mostly is. Check out the registration page for the HomeScreen Router cloud service:

So, Ashok et al, did Securifi decide to license the Almond+ tech out and that is why things have been so quiet wrt our kickstarter units, features, and such?

There was another post about this somewhere in the forum, but I can't find it now.

It's a product designed and manufactured by Securifi, but sold by a different company with some customization for their requirements.
I think it was more of an experiment on Securifi's side than anything else and I doubt there will be any more like it.

Just checking on Ashok, the forum shows he has only posted 1 in the last week to a question for the A+, and a few times each for the 'plain' A, and for the A 2015. I didn't check on/for anyone else.
