Title: Rule for setting a lamp ON

Can´t get the sensor to switch ON at a specific time and then turn OFF have tried to set it ON between 0500 PM and 2200 PM. How do I configure it? Having it switched ON between a specific time interval with a sensor has been succesful

@ Paholainen,

First Rule: Under "IF" section select the time only and hit confirm, later on under "THEN" select the Switch to be turned on.

Second Rule: Do the same thing and change the Time and Switch status.

First problem I see with your rule is that there is no 0500PM , 2200PM. it would be 5:00 pm and 10:00 pm or 1700 and 2200 ( no am/pm designation)

Rule 1 If off between 5:00 pm and 10:00 PM  then turn on
Rule 2 if on at 10:00 pm then turn off. Or you could do If on between 10:00 PM and 11:59PM then turn off. This second option however would eliminate your ability to manually turn the light on between 10-12 because the rule would immediately shut it off again.

Yeah noticed the am/pm issue, not the usual 24hr system.
