This is interesting, thought I'd share.

Pleasantly surprised is my reaction.
Shouldn't be too surprised I guess because I've never had issues with HD Video streaming but that's a decent ranking right there.

It should be noted that the tests shown were conducted 1 ,2 sometimes 3 years ago. Bench tests from 2014 are not exactly a reliable source if shopping in 2016.

Bench tests using standards are exactly used for comparison over time, that's why it's a standardized bench test, no?
So you can see the relative and absolute progression of technology?
The only change would be the firmwares associated with particular devices that may or may not improve performance. One would reasonably expect current devices to be outperforming similar class devices from 5 years ago and when they are not, it's a flag worthy of note.

What I meant was is things change in time. The hardware that was #1 in 2014 when tested is not necessarily #1 in 2016. A Galaxy S4 may have been a top 5 phone in 2014, but technology is fluid and not it might even hold a top 20 position in 2016.

Understand. Be nice if they updated the chart with some benchmarks from current routers, they are still doing reviews.
Even so, was nice to see the relative benchmarks for the A+ knowing when it was built and when I took delivery, was better than I expected actually. My residential networking hardware doesn't get replaced very often and I don't anticipate any need to update this setup for some time to come.
