Title: Securifi water sensor battery warning
Post by: Ohiomedic on February 23, 2016, 03:04:54 pm
I purchased the first gen water sensor about a year ago. When I received it it had a low battery warning, I didn't change the since it still worked. Now almost a year later decided to try replacing the batteries to see if the warning would clear. Even with new batteries it still states they are low, and remains even if removed and repaired. Is there a trick to clearing the warning, or is it just always going to have the warning?

@ Ohiomedic,

Remove the sensor from the network and clean the battery and then insert it back, ensure there is no plastic near the battery area. Now reset the sensor to the defaults and pair it back, disable the tampering and check, it should work.

That seems to have done the trick.

Thanks
