Forgot to record my previous firmware version (d'oh!) but it was rock solid for wifi connections. It's been a long time since I updated, so I did, now at R085. Wifi connections work for about 12 hours and then everything stalls out. A reboot of the router gets things working again, for a short while.
1. Is this a known issue?
2. Are previous firmware versions available to roll back?
3. If I roll back, will settings be preserved?
Thanks for any answers

@ frozendave,
So far, we have not found any issues with the wireless connection getting disconnected after updating to R85, our previous version was R083 is it possible for you to perform a proper factory reset and then check the performance?

You may not have found any issues, but I have.
I tried doing a factory reset. I tried adding a scheduled reboot every night (which seemed to make it worse). Mine lasts for 2-3 days, but then wifi will crap out. Wired connections still work, but nothing over 2.4 ghz or 5 ghz.
Sometimes the wan will crap out, requiring a reboot.
Other times, all interfaces will drop except the wan. So I go through the diagnostics via the LCD screen and it says everything is happily humming along, no issues... But I can't get an address over DHCP, I can't enter in a static address and ping the router - nothing, until a reboot.
It's very frustrating how unreliable this thing is.

@ chlimouj,
I could completely understand your situation, but it is very strange that only after the software update you are facing this issue. Let me recheck to see and get back to you about what else we can try for you.

I have the exact same issue, my Almond+ has become quite unreliable. I deep down think this is a heat issue.
As you may remember, you guys were kind enough to send me a replacement LCD. Well I am comfortable taking the unit apart and I will try to experiment with some cooling solutions. Maybe upgraded thermal pad, etc.

@Ashok
I also had the same issue when i updated to 085 firmware. I created and ticket and worked with your support team few weeks back. Only solution i i have implemented is roll back 083 firmware which your support team send it to me. Since then i have no issues. your 085 firmware definitely have bugs.
I truly believe you guys already tested that firmware before release but it seems like you need more beta releases before it official.

Chaulk up another one. Had to roll back from R085 due to this issue. Opened support tix.

Heat seems to be becoming more and more of a problem. As it is, no matter which firmware, the USB ports are essentially non-usable as plugging anything into them starts the A+ building up heat.
If your A+ is wall mounted, you may want to try switching to the other "stand"-type bracket that was supplied with the unit and see if having the back free allows more airflow.

After the reboot or power outage, Almond+ not providing internet access issue is resolved with our Beta firmware, however, got some issues with Rules and our team is working on resolving it. If any one would like to try the Beta firmware, please PM me.

Well since the general release does not work I am not about to load a Beta.
