I have the previous version of the Aeon Labs multisensor. I have it outdoors and either it loses signal all the time or is defective. I'm leaning towards defective based on my testing. Does anyone use any other outdoor motion detectors? I'd prefer multisensor versions but am open to suggestions. How is everyone liking the new multisensor version? Thanks!

I had the previous version AND the have current version of the multisensor from Aeon. went round and round trying to get them to stay connected to the hub through sensors that were less than 2 yards away. I have had no problems since replacing the hub. At the end of the day, they just aren't supported correctly by the Almond.

Is the problem connecting them or reliable motion sensing? Infrared motion sensors like these have a very tough time outdoors. That is partially why Aeon Labs says the motion must be disabled for outdoor use. That is right on their main product page for the multi sensor.
If it is not keeping a reliable connection... That I see as something to be brought up to Securifi to see what (if anything) they can do from their end.

It isn't staying connected to the almond. I assumed it was an issue with the sensor as I thought others were using it successfully.
