Is there a possible method for having additional logins for the android/iphone apps to allow non-admins to control lights and other smart devices without gaining network rights?

From your primary account, you can invite secondary users and all we have to ensure is, the secondary user account is created on our cloud via "connect.securifi.com" or app.

I think he is looking for a user that only has access to basic or predetermined features. I would like to see this as well.

Im looking for the ability to set up an additional slave account so that my girlfriend can control the lights from the Almond app individually.

You can do that by sending an invite.

What about multiple local accounts (non-root) for those that do not use the cloud connection? I would like my wife/kids to only be able to turn lights on and off.

Multiple users can login locally on the App to control sensors with out any concerns.

There is no functionality for what you want to do. I have also asked the question, and it is a reasonable request, but I would not expect a favorable outcome anytime soon. You should be able to designate other people to access the HA functionality without handing out the "keys to the kingdom" via core router functionality, but there is only one app, and it functions exactly for the intial account holder identically how it functions for those who have been invited to share control.
From the responses you are getting, they don't seem to grasping what we are asking for. What we are asking for essentially is a completely distinct app with limited or limitable permissions at the connected sensor/device level.

Doesnt need to be a specific app but just a restricted login account that removes wifi settings and just leaves devices and scenes.

No, as of now there is no account which has restrictions like the way you are describing. However, yes, we would be working on something like that through our future updates.
