Title: Roost Smart Battery
Post by: spooky123 on November 23, 2016, 03:21:11 pm
Has anyone seen or used these smart 9v batteries?

Per comments IFTTT compatible.

$32 for a 9v battery? I'll stick with the $40 Smoke/CO Z wave First Alert detector. Seems interesting but I'm not sure how much use that would be for most people.

Yes, it's pricey and has some mixed reviews. What slightly piqued my interest was 5+year battery life and not necessarily using it in smoke detectors, but more so other 9v systems such as my sump pump backup alarm or an old well pump alarm. I'm gathering by your comment that you've not used them?
