Will the Almond+ be receiving an update to work directly with google home?

The Almond+ won't need that update, the Google Home needs to be fully opened (which I believe is scheduled for January by Google) so developers can develop for it. In the meantime you can set up custom IFTTT recipes which work with the Google Home and run scenes created on the Almond+. :-D
