Title: No internet access with guest accounts
Post by: Chris R on January 05, 2017, 11:26:39 pm
I have had a Almond plus for a while.,I am using it as a access point. Today I turned on the guest networks, but I do not have any internet access on these.
Are there other settings to get internet access for guest networks?

Why is it that the only help anyone can give is reset the device. It does not fix anything. All it does is waste alot of my time & convinces me that I bought the wrong product from a bad company.
I have wasted hours trying to get guest networks to get internet access on 2 of the Almond +s.  The only purpose of a guest account is to give internet only access to guests.

I am now out over $400 for products that does not do what they are advertised to do.
The next step is a very big hammer.

I have now spent 9 minutes trying to post this because of the lame security features below, even though I know this will never make it on line, but there are other places to post this that many more people will see it.

@ Chris R,

I am sorry for the inconvenience caused, but there is no known issue with the Guest network doesn't provide any internet access. For immediate support, it is always suggested to reach our support team at support@securifi.com, who would be happy to take care of this.

Meanwhile, did we try some basics about disabling and enabling it back and also rebooting the Almond+, internet doesn't work on both 2.4 and 5 GHz?

I'll make a wild guess that it has something to do with my issues that has been posted multiple times and not responded to or even acknowledged.

Access Point doesn't work with Enable Wireless Client Isolation:
