Anyone else having this issue or have a fix? I have sent a ton of logs files to securifi and they can't duplicate it. I have a USB 3.0 external hard drive that when I connect to my Almond, it causes the Almond to not send commands for the rules I have set up. It will say my porch lights are on, but they are off. I will pull up the app and it may or may not work. Other sensors dont communicate at all when it is plugged in. As soon as I disconnect the hard drive, everything works just fine again. Any ideas? Thanks,
Dave

Try with a different USB hard drive.
If this particular HDD is out of spec - it might cause undefined behaviour in the Almond+.
That might be the reason Securifi can't replicate the problem.

Out of spec in what way? It's a nearly brand new WD 3TB hard drive.

Out of spec generally means not up to the standardized requirements. In this case with USB 3.0 which has been unfortunately very common in the early iterations of numerous 3.0 devices.

Wonder if you could plug a powered USB hub into the Almond+, then plug the HD into that. and that might alleviate the problem if its drawing too much current from the USB or slightly out of spec..

Have you noticed any heat coming off the unit? (router, not HD I mean)

Thanks for the powered usb hub idea. That seems to have helped the problem and helped with transfer speeds. I always thought it was slow for being a USB 3.0 on my network, but now adding power to it has helped with data transfer as well. I guess the Almond+ ports just don't put out enough juice.
