I bought a Schlage lock with alarm over the weekend and I can not get it to pair?

I will enter the pairing mode on the A+ and tell the lock to program with the programing code with a 0 at the end.  The A+ sees the lock but almost immediately the lock with have a red X and it didn't program correctly?  The A+ is also telling me to wait because it's programing but I think over 10 min is a little long.  I have tried to get it installed a few times now and still no luck?

It looks like the A+ sees the device but it will never successfully set it up?

I tried to remove the device but I am still having issues? 

Any help would be appreciated.

im able to pair mine and it works well.

how far away is your A+ when pairing. It needs to be quite close.

I finally got it to add.  It took me a few times to remove and add the device.   But in the end it's working now.  Now on to the new zwave thermostat.
