Please advise.
I am trying to add NYCE NCZ-3014-HA to Almond 2015 (Software version: AL2-R091) and continue failing.  Need your help

@ djlogike,

Reboot the Almond 2015 and then try adding the sensor back, while you see the message 'getting sensor info...please wait' then tilt the sensor and let us know the status.

@djlogike any update? Some sensors require the sensor to be triggered when it is being added as Ashok mentioned.

Hello Ashok & mparadis
The "Adding Sensor ... Please wait" message appears only when i reinsert the battery after pressing add sensor. Still, the Tilting didn't help. Association failed

BTW, the joining procedure as explained in page 2 "PRODUCT FUNCTION AND LED INDICATORS" also didn't work.

Is it possible for you to try connecting any other Zigbee sensor and let us know the status?

There are two versions of this tilt sensor. One sold at Lowes (which states that it works with IRIS), This particular version will not work with Almond as it uses proprietary Zigbee implementation.  This Smartthings link gives you more details - https://support.smartthings.com/hc/en-us/articles/204576964-NYCE-Garage-Door-Tilt-Sensor

I was interested in purchasing this because it is available for $14 at Lowes, but unfortunately, it won't work with Almond.

Nothing worked so far.
@ Ashok... The device recognizes other Zigbee sensors
@ d.kiran... I am using the same one as Almond+ support recommended... NYCE NCZ-3014HA Zigbee Garage Door (Tilt) Sensor
Thanks for the responses.

Remove the battery for few seconds and then insert it back, while you press the pairing button green LED light should blink, if that doesn't happen replace the battery and then try adding it to the Almond device. Just in case, if you are seeing green LED light then press the pairing button for 10 times and in that 3 times the LED should blink red which means it left the network, then press it 4 times to add. If this still fails then please do send logs.
